I'm feeling great, too, Rich!

Spending:
$2,500.00 - help my mother make home improvements.
$2,500.00 - give to my dad to use as he sees fit (pay property taxes, etc.)
$2,500.00 toward church's building fund - i want this historical church to stand forever.
$7,500.00 - self enrichment: writing classes (3 week long sessions at Iowa writers = $1,500.00), money management classes, cooking class abroad ($3,100.00) and travel accomodations as needed.
Desire Level 10/10
Resistance 1/10
Your Comments: I realize that this 'game' says we should spend most on ourselves and not give any away, however that is not my personality (completely:-). I must give something in order to be happy and that is the focus of the game. I LOVE the way I've spent this $15,000.00! I look forward to the days when I will actually spend money in this manner!

I am here. I just got some bad news about a co-worker, he had a fire that burned his entire home down. I will be back later.

Sorry to hear that. That's awful news.

I was having a time with deciding before I heard the news of my co-workers home burning down. Then I realized life is crazy and so much can happen. So I did spend almost more money on a relative than myself. My grandma has helped care for and raise 5 generations of fam. My cousin's baby is 8 months old my grandma is going on 84. My cousin is not humble enough to realize she needs to appreciate and not argue with my grandma. I am doing this for my grandma.

Spending Pay six month's worth of rent. Pay for daycare for my cousin's baby so my grandma can get deserved rest.
Desire Level 10/10
Resistance 4/10
Your Comments I have a slight resistence on paying for daycare when my cousin does not completely appreciate my grandma\'s help.

I feel you there. I have a hard time with unappreciative people.

Spending Partial Furnishings for my new house. I'll put this stuff in storage for a hot minute, because I know the money for the house is coming.

Your Comments This purchase would really make my wife happy, and it will be a joy to get some nice things that I like as well. We both have expensive taste, so it's good to be able to buy without arguing about what we can and can't afford right now.
