Super pride and optimistically hopeful Eight is Enough
Last night was definitely a great night... I almost always thought that my generation would never really experience a monumental part of history that didn't pertain to something other than medicine... but last night gave me hope that we will have a stamp in history too... and that I can say I was alive for something and witnessed it first hand something that my kids may read in their history books and it feels good.
Definately another historic moment in our lifetime.
Man...I haven't seen Spike with a smile on his face like that in a long time.
You can't imagine how many people are talking about this today! Everyone is moved and just feeling so much love and pride. It was historic and it was powerful. I thank God for people with hearts like this.
let the games been
McCain and his 44 yr old female VP
I see my title, "If Only For One Night" was the perfect title because old boy couldn't wait until this morning to get that off.
I guess in essence he is saying his VP is ready to be President, cause he's one nut away from a heart attack.
I only wish I had been there.
I've been up late every night watching the events at the DNC. I too am proud of the advances we've made. We have many more to make but for this time in history I'm celebrating that people have looked past the color of a Black man's skin and made Barack Obama their candidate of choice.
i absolutely love this.
I wonder how motivated and concerned with politics people will be after the general election, no matter who wins.
Big Rich what it be like..I read your comment....Hit me up on my email about that Blogger compilation I would love to be a part of it when the time comes..urbansoulconnection@yahoo.com
I LOVE politics too - seeing this and being a part of making it happen has given me a feeling that I will never forget in my lifetime.
