Hold On

There is a moment that sometimes occurs just before breakthrough

That moment is when all hell breaks loose to try and throw you off track

It is in that moment that defines who we really are

Will you stand

Will you cower

Will you fight

Will you allow God to bring you through

In that moment, it is your job to summon every bit of strength
you have and make up your mind to

remain positive

remain strong

remain brave

remain faithful

It is in that moment that you must
Hold On!

Many amens on this post. It's so easy to want to give up on yourself, especially when one thing comes after another. It seems like it's impossible to catch a break, but you can't waver. It's the faith in God and the belief that He will carry you through that strengthens us and sustains us. Soon the clouds will give way to sunshine...

The moment when I want to close my eyes and let go.

Allow all my pain and sorrow to envelop me and smother me.

Then I realize that weeping only endures for a night. That this too shall pass.
I am much stronger then I was yesterday and can handle all things that come my way.

And be thankful for the pain because it helps me to be ever so more thankful for the joy.

Yes, Rich I posted in your comments. Hey, I wanted to write my hold on story.

Keep on preaching and reminding me.

I'm not sure who I heard first say this but you find a persons true character during a time of adversity. I can't help but think of the song "Can You Stand the Rain" by New Edition. It seems when all is well, you have friends for days; but if your money ever starts looking a little funny, your car break down; you'll learn who your real friends are quick, fast and in a hurry.
