i agree - the songs for commercials was the best! i often think that, too when I hear certain songs!
A good friend & i joke that the Miss Jane Pittman scene where she finally drinks from the "white" fountain should be used by a water company. Sistah Cicely played the HALE outta that role & to THIS DAY I have to have a glass of water when she gets to that part! LOL!
That would be a good scene for a water company, but if it isn't black owned the company would probably catch hell for it for marketing off our pain. There are a lot of sensitive people out here.
LOL. Funny I work for a water company, well actually we clean/supply water for tons of cities.
